The grant is a five year grant funded by Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP) The SPF SIG goals are (1) Reduce Underage Alcohol Use and (2) Reduce Adult Binge Drinking by way of a five-step process (Assessment, Capacity, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation) that supports youth development, reduces risk- taking behaviors, builds on assets and prevents problem behaviors. Breathe Easy Tobacco Coalition

Description:Our mission is to reduce the effects that tobacco has on the members of our communities. We are dedicated to meeting this mission in three ways: First by educating youth ages 0-21 about the harms of tobacco and the deception of the tobacco companies. Second, the coalition supports community cessation programs for both adults and youth.
